Today’s the day Jupiter moves into Cancer for a year filled with exalted prosperity, expansion, and growth. The word of the day in my ever-present* copy of Daily Word is PROSPERITY.
* My mother subscribed to Daily Word starting when I was about 8 years old and I’ve kept up my own subscription since I left for college, then adulthood, then grad school, then joining the circus. 😉 You get the idea. I actually mean EVER-PRESENT when I talk about Daily Word.
Feels like the perfect time to borrow a “teach” from our flagship program, Get in Gear for the Next Tier. Settle in and let me talk you through one of my very favorite Abraham-Hicks money mindset techniques: The Prosperity Game.
What’s cool about gamifying anything that may have previously felt like drudgery for us is that the act of reframing the issue as something into which we can weave a lot of FUN actually creates new ways of thinking about things we may have always felt *had to* be a certain kind of way.
Meaning, if you play this game consistently, you’ll find when you sit down to pay bills you have a strange new relationship with the whole process. Your glee felt over imagining everything from that spiffy new computer to the new wing you add on to the children’s activity center in which you spent all those after-school hours growing up will spill over into balancing the books, giving you a strange sense of ease at first and eventually a hint of joy! Things that go a LONG way toward making us full-on freakin’ money magnets.
Whether you’re bidding on artwork at fancy champagne auctions on cruise ships or silently investing in that friend’s script you always knew would make a great film if only it could find its budget, have FUN with this and really feel it as you do it. It’s ridiculously effective in shifting your relationship with money (and it’s also just way fun). Do it for as many days as you can; it doesn’t take that much time and it really provides an impact!
Partner up with a prosperity buddy! Post here in the comments or over at our Chart Harmony Discord server or agree with a buddy to text or email one another daily to share what you’ll spend as you go from $1000 a day on up to as many days as you care to play (I’ve gotten up to spending $100,000 a day because I’ve turned this game into a 100-day challenge for myself before. Oh, BTW, that meant by the time I was done with that particular round, I had spent just over five-and-a-quarter mil, baby).
Get creative! Have fun! Enjoy springing out of bed thinking, “Oh goodie! Today’s the day I get to buy…” and watch how your relationship with not only your debt shifts but also how you start feeling higher up on the enoughness scale with each passing day.
I seriously love this game and I know you will too if you go all-in on it.
Much love,
