Regular readers will recall that I have written about phenomenal character actor, dear friend, beloved son Eric Gelman before. Last week, his murderer received a prison sentence of 20 years to life. In addition to the press materials’ coverage of the sentencing and heart wrenching victims’ impact statements, there was mention of a memorial fund.
After blogging about this news story, I received a message from the Director of Young Alumni Outreach at Goucher College, who is overseeing the memorial fund. I am sharing her message and asking that you take a moment — if not to make a donation — to honor Eric’s memory by committing to do good work, every day.
If you would like to make a donation to the fund at Goucher College, please see www.goucher.edu/gift or send your check (payable to Goucher College, with “Eric Gelman Memorial Scholarship Fund” in the notes area) to:
Goucher College Development Office
1021 Dulaney Valley Rd.
Towson, MD 21204
Thanks very much for keeping Eric’s memory alive!
