Why does astrology HATE me? Why are these eclipses so bad? Why does retrograde suck?

(I hear these questions a lot. Of course, I assume folks are being hyperbolic… but just in case, please know: Astrology doesn’t hate you. Retrogrades don’t suck. Eclipses… yeah, they can be pretty bad. In ancient times, all sorts of evil was foretold by eclipses… so, I’ll let you have that one. ANYWAY! I created a system for you to check — for real — how much impact each astro thing may have in YOUR life.)

Didja ever notice that you will feel a certain retrograde or lunation INTENSELY, while a friend of yours will sail on through without a blip? Or that you’ll not even notice a planetary ingress that everyone else is making a big deal about, out there on social? This is usually due to the fact that the same transit maps onto each person’s natal chart in its own unique way!

How can you know which of the shifts in woo weather are going to have the greatest impact in your daily life? Here’s my Chart Harmony system for figuring it all out!

Transit Impact System

We determine how much impact astro/woo weather will have on you by first remembering 3 important Chart Harmony guidelines.

1. The planet is the WHAT. The sign is the HOW. The house is WHERE it shows up in your life.
2. The farther OUT the transiting planet, the greater impact it will have on the closest-in natal planets. (Example: Transiting Pluto conjunct your natal Moon is gonna feel a heck of a lot more impactful than transiting Moon conjunct your natal Pluto.)
3. Transits, ingresses, and stations (Oh, my!) activate your natal placements. While this activity is predictable, the choices you make upon Fated activations represent your Free Will.

With these 3 Transit Impact Guidelines in place, let’s dive in on the Chart Harmony QUESTIONS to ask to determine just how big an impact any particular woo weather, transit, sign change (AKA ingress), retrograde/direct illusion shift (planetary stationing) will have on you!

To get good at tracking the impact of woo weather, start by noticing when the Moon “crosses the angles” of your chart each month. Notice when the Moon changes signs into ones that are the same modality as you have on the angles of your natal chart (1H, 4H, 7H, 10H).

You can do this with the Sun too! Using my method from my “How to Survive 2025” webinar — free here — just write the dates that the Sun shifts into each sign of the zodiac all along the outside of your chartwheel.
