This week’s Your Turn is one very quick and simple bit of feedback on last week’s column “Do Your Tools Measure Up?” — and it sums up quite nicely all the feedback I received via email, at Twitter, and in various encounters with both actors and agents throughout the week.
YES! Thank you!
I was just telling my friend to do this on Sunday (she asked how to get headshots that would help her get rep), and she treated me like a crazy, type-A stalker!
Thank you for writing an article that I can forward her with a wink. You rock.
Ha! What awesome timing!
I’m always fascinated by folks who will want to see glowing reviews on Yelp before trying a new restaurant but they won’t do the same lap around the Internet to be sure a new business partner is the right fit!
And in fact they may believe that actors who *do* that amount of research and analysis are obsessive, rather than appreciating the edge it may provide to be THAT “in the know.”
I’m so glad this column reinforced the brilliant things you’re already guiding your friends to do. YOU rock!
