I’ve been thinking about strong muscles.
Specifically, the Popeye-sized overdeveloped muscles I once had for churning out columns (and BonBlasts) every week for more than 16 years. I mean, of course those muscles were strong! That’s a LOT of showing up to the keyboard week after week, knowing tens of thousands of showbiz creatives would be expecting to read my words soon.
Does the fact that I haven’t been a columnist for more than a decade now — or the fact that I don’t land in your inbox AT LEAST once a week these days — mean the muscles for that practice are forever lost?
Of course not!
I just haven’t had a workout like that in a while. (And, quite frankly, I’m fatigued by even the IDEA of having a workout like that right now.)
It’s easy to wonder what’s wrong with ME in times like these. But it’s not me. Or at least… not entirely me.
Turns out there are cycles in my life during which that sort of consistency, discipline, and momentum is way easier to maintain. And the same is true for YOU too. Times when being motivated to take action feels like no big deal. Seasons during which your love life is THE primary focus and nothing else can keep your attention for very long. Entire years while everything keeps changing and shifting and it’s as if planning for the future just ain’t gonna happen!
Yeah, these are woo cycles.
And with my birthday coming up on Saturday, I’m gonna spend my next livestream exploring the different ways of looking at the year ahead, so I can ease up on myself about things that won’t feel easy (while planning to take full advantage of the stuff that’s gonna be friction-free).

This is why I was digging out my mother’s copy of A Course in Miracles recently, BTW. Preparing for a Mercury-ruled year of book clubs and discussion groups and new friends and spirited debates and finding out what else may be ready for me to discover.
Hope you’ll come hang out with me during Friday’s livestream! 🎉 🎈 Happy Birthday, Bonnie! ✨ How Astrology Reveals the THEME of the Year Ahead 📆 ☀️
Solar return charts and annual profections both run from birthday to birthday, setting powerful themes — and even more powerful ruling planets — for everything we’ll experience in each new trip around the sun. And then there’s secondary progressions, firdaria, transits, numerology… and so so so much more. Which factors are worth looking into? And what do we DO with the info once we’ve gathered it?
Come celebrate the end of my experience being age 55 by looking at some of these patterns together. Maybe you’ll find a new favorite for your own birthday celebration!
Same link for the livestream and replay. 🤗 Do say hello in the comments so I know you stopped by!
’til next time, I’m sending you a ton of love, good vibes, and a big ol’ thank you for being in my life. All things considered, 55 was not so bad!
Much love,
