I swear, a migraine is a life-sucking bit of hell. This was a FIVE DAY MIGRAINE. Ugh. I can only hope it is ACTUALLY over. I did leave the house tonight. Had to. I hope I don’t have a rebound. I did on Sunday. Hardcore. Ugh.
I have news, but none worth risking the rebound-migraine-from-staring-at-the-screen-so-long to share. Yet.
Lemme get through the next couple of hours in order to see whether I’m stable enough to catch all up.
Oh, the one cool big thing is… the first film I ever cast will have its big screening on Saturday night. I am SO. DAMN. PROUD. *contented sigh*

*whew* glad you put that evil behind you girl, you certainly had my sympathies…a fellow sufferer over here.
as for the screening, well that just freak’n rocks! You KNOW we would be there if we could.
How exicting is that! rock on.
Kill me now.
Five day migraine meets crisis at one of the jobs (computer-related) meets… get this… DEAD EFFIN’ COMPUTER. Yep. I’ve spent the past SEVEN hours trying to get my G4 PowerBook to start up in OSX (10.2.6). No, it won’t boot from a CD. No, starting it up in UNIX and running the “fsck -y” command doesn’t get it through to startup. Yes, I’ve reset the PRAM. No, I can’t get it to start up in OS9. I have nothing but the Spinning Wheel of Death no matter what I do. Thank God Keith left his IBM ThinkPad so I can pop mail and code the emergency change to the page for the computer client. Of course, I can’t upload it, since all the FTP shortcut/username/password is stored on the Chicklet! Ugh!!!!!!!
And Keith is in Sacramento! And his cell phone has been OFF since 10:30pm, when I first booted the computer today.
EFFFFFFFFF!!!! This is NOT how today was supposed to go. At. All. EFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!
Disk Warrior. It’s the only thing that saved my powerbook when doing the exact same thing.
