All right, y’all. The Solar Eclipse in Scorpio is headed our way!

This is a biggie! Especially if you have planets or placements at or near 2º of the Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius), you’ll feel a bit of transformation energy thanks to the intensity of this eclipse and the hard angles going on with those 4 signs.

Usually for a New Moon (when the Sun and the Moon are in the same sign, which is the case once the Moon moves into Scorpio in a few hours), we set intentions. We plant seeds for what we’d like to create and invite into our lives, especially leaning into the gifts of the sign the New Moon is happening in (Scorpio, tomorrow).

BUT!

Under a Solar Eclipse (the kind of eclipse that happens under a New Moon), we don’t set intentions. Just like, under a Lunar Eclipse (the kind of eclipse that happens under a Full Moon), we don’t do a release ritual or charge our crystals. Too much energy. Too much intensity.

Personally, I put myself in bubblewrap from before the first eclipse ’til after the second one (they travel in pairs, and this happens twice a year). So, this time out, I stopped peopling after my Aligned Advantage membership Zoom and a 1-on-1 Guided Chart Harmony session on Friday the 21st and I’ll pop back up more publicly after November 13th.

It’s a time to declutter. Sit in gratitude for all that is transforming. Focus on the HOUSES the eclipses will hit (so, for this one on October 25th and the next one on November 8th, that’d be wherever you have Scorpio and Taurus in your chart). Notice the shifts that are happening. Welcome the shakeup rather than fearing it. Appreciate how different our lives can be in a WHOOSH of energy. ♏🦂

One last thing: During eclipses, we can find ourselves very internally focused and SO SLEEPY. This is a form of protection for all the energy pinging around. So if you’re not noticing all the swirling whooshing energy and you’re wondering what the big deal is… maybe you’re sleeping through it (and that’s totally fine too). The eclipses have their way with us whether we’re here for it or not.
