Reminder: tomorrow is Chad’s 12 of 12 photo day. Finally, I have some exciting stuff going on during the appointed day. Hee! Fun stuff! Bonus photo this month is one taken at the same exact moment, all around the world (7am PDT). Ooooh! Between this and the collective creative energy of the 14 Day Screenplay Challenge, you’d think the planets were surely trying to align. Still on page 18 over here, but today is column and screenplay day… then I schedule callbacks for Salvation, Texas. Yippee!

I’m not dissing blogger or anything…because I know it’s free and all…but I’m just sayin’ it still won’t let me post pictures…and so I don’t know if I’ll ever get to do a 12 of 12 again…and that makes me feel as sad as Jodie Sweetin’s post-Full House career.

KiK, I can host your photos on the Cricket Feet server if you want. Just email them to me and I’ll send you the links to put into your blog post. Really! There’s room on Cricket Feet for all of my NBFs!

Who’s the lucky customer? And what does s/he win?!? Ooooooh.

    1) doesn’t lori laughlin have a new show coming out she stars in?
    2) uncle jesse was my first celebrity crush. when i told this to someone ten years older than me (so, your age…) she was like, “wow, you DO have father issues.”
(she was thinking of dukes of hazzard uncle jesse)
    and i was like, “ewwww.”
    3) call me, text me, comment me when you hit 25 pages because i will have a glass of wine in your honor! even if it’s at 5 AM (but i do sleep like a bear)
    4) pics still aren’t working on blogger so i probably can’t do the 12 of 12 🙁 which is too bad since i was planning on getting my oil change tomorrow, and going to the gym, and um…writing in a coffee shop.
    5) KiKi and I just saw the Omen and it was so fucking awful but so enjoyably entertaining all at once!
    6) KiKi and I also saw “The Real Thing” by Tom Stoppard. And it wasn’t. Not by a country kilometer (they were “british”…).

i’ve always been way lucky in everything but love…

  6. Bon June 11, 2006 at 11:44 pm

OMG, of COURSE it’s you! You were 2000 and 2001! Yay! Babes!

  7. Bon June 11, 2006 at 11:50 pm

I would think of Dukes’ Uncle Jesse too. It is a generational thing. It’s just what we grew up with. 😉
I will absolutely make contact with you when I hit page 25. IF I hit page 25. Sheesh! I’m thinking my screenplay may turn out to be a short. Hee! But Keith leaves town on Wednesday night and I’m willing to bet I’ll pull an all-nighter and get a lot done. We shall see.
Same offer to you re: 12 of 12 on the Cricket Feet server. You send me photos and I’ll send you links you can plant in your blog entry so they show up on your blog. Yes, I’ll help you with that too. 😉
I don’t like “The Omen” on principle (Julia Stiles passed on “HILMMAKS” and I’m bitter). And I also don’t like movies that scare the bejeezus out of me. In general.
*snicker* Kilometer. Hee! Oh–PS–do you have any interest in the UK and do you think you could “write British”? I’m a part of a writing project I think you’d like to join. Lemmeknow.

  8. Bon June 11, 2006 at 11:51 pm

Oh, and for posting number 2000 you win a date with me on my anniversary! Yay!
    AND…
    Speaking of soap opera stares…
Are you watching “I Wanna Be a Soap Star” by any chance? I am ENTHRALLED. This Kelly lady is psycho. And I cannot stop watching her.

  9. babes June 12, 2006 at 12:20 am

woohoo so what you’re saying is, i’m ahead on the day! so glad i played! (i only play to win, baby)
and yes, i think i could probably pull off writing british…not slang british but queen’s english british.
(for the first, i’d write something like:
    CHAP: ‘ello, governor!
    WARDEN: boy…
CHAP: me ate all me porridge, i did! could i have some more, please?
    WARDEN: MORE?
DICK VAN DYKE: Chim-chimeny, chim-chimeny, chim-chim, cheree, a sweep is as lucky, as lucky can be…
CHAP: Blimey. Dick Van Dyke, bugger off, i say!)
OKAY, I’ll stop…And of course I LOVE the UK! And writing projects! So you leMMEknow!
(oh and btw, do you know I turned 21 at midnight on January 1, 2001, the millineum…sounds way cooler than it was. i can’t even remember what i did. and not in the good i can’t remember way.)

  10. babes June 12, 2006 at 12:21 am

oh and NO to the Soap Opera Star…but sounds like my favorite show, ever, just waiting to happen – when’s it on!?

  11. Erik June 12, 2006 at 2:04 am

thank you for the photo hosting offer! will that really work? i am such a computer idiot. it sounds like hocus pocus, all of this talk about “pictures” being “hosted.”
but you roped me back in! i will take pictures.
not sure if i’ll get the “bonus” photo, though, as cool as it is…7am is in less than 6 hours…i’ll try to wake up…
(oh, and congratulations babes! on getting the winning comment! i am jealous.) (oh, and who’s brodie?) (sorry, bonbon, i just wrote a “the real thing” inside joke on your comment thread–but now you’re thinking “i wonder what that means?” which means we have a story to share, and that’s always fun.)

  12. Bon June 12, 2006 at 2:49 am

Okay, Babes… I’m gonna email you about the British writing assignment. I think you’ll dig it.
A 21-at-midnight-on-the-millineum *does* sound pretty cool. You can always SAY it was cooler than it actually was. People will totally believe you.
Okay, so you totally have to start watching “I Wanna Be a Soap Star.” It’s on the Soap Opera Network on Thursday nights with reruns (with less of the saucy stuff) on ABC Family throughout the weekend. I’m so so so hooked. And I don’t even watch soaps. Just watching these people trying to become soap stars (not actors… STARS) is like a trainwreck. Brilliant.
Yes, the photo hosting will work. You email me your photos, I upload them to a space on the Cricket Feet server, and then I email you back the links where they now “live.” You blog and instead of using whatever Blogger gives you to insert photos, you use an HTML code for images hosted elsewhere… and I’ll help you with that part too. I promise, it’ll make sense once we do it.
I have my alarm set for the 7am photo. It’s in four hours, right? *yawn* I can imagine that’ll be a blast. HOWL!
Aren’t you proud of Babes for getting the 2000th comment? It’s just so cool of her! (And way better than calling “first,” if you ax me.) Hee!
I have a friend named Brody, so I’ll just assume your inside joke is about my friend and then I’m kind of in on it. 😉 Oh, and I don’t mind inside jokes. I think most things are funny–inappropriately so–which leaves me laughing almost all the time.
Hey, KiK, are you going to CoCo’s blogger show Friday night?

  13. adam June 12, 2006 at 3:15 am

You’re INSANE! I can’t do one thing at once.
    Salvation, Texas sounds purty coool!

  14. Bon June 12, 2006 at 3:31 am

Adam, I cannot argue with you. I think Billy Joel wrote a song about what a lunatic I am. 😉
I never thought I’d be working on three films at once–much less three films AND a screenplay. Ack!
And “Salvation, Texas” *is* very cool. Very. We made two of the five lead role casting decisions tonight. LOVE it!
I did have to turn down a casting gig this weekend, though. 🙁 Bummer, but the whole saying NO thing is just plain ol’ required, right now.
    Yippee! I’m bleary-eyed with delight!

Hey – you’ve overtaken me! I’ve only got 16 pages… Had something of a lull, just posted about it on my blog. Just starting to get back into it now. Keep up the good work!
