We’d been together 2.5 years at this point, breaking my previous relationship record (9 months) and defying all predictions that we’d ever be able to stay together a year.

See… I’m bad at relationships, and “all men leave.”

These are phrases I learned from my mom early in life, then I got told “You’re damaged goods! No man will ever have you,” by my dad when I got my first tattoo. 🤦🏽‍♀️

So, I entered my 30s repeating these beliefs until Keith taught me I could rewrite them. 💫

Hmm… whaddayaknow!

He was right. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Here we are, together nearly 18 years, and it just gets better every day. No, we’re not perfect, nor do we aspire to be. We lean into one another’s strengths, fortify each other’s weaknesses, and choose each other every day.
