So I need a good cheering up. You’re my only hope, guys. Kitties and Keiths have gone to bed. Bleh.

Have you seen this preview for the new Hugh Jackman X-Men movie? (If you haven’t seen it, it’s not what it sounds like–it’s better.)
Have you heard the new Scissor Sisters song? (Not my favorite of their songs, but it is definitely a fun, peppy, 70’s-ish disco, poppy, romp.
Have you seen the preview for Sophia Coppola’s new Marie Antoinette movie? (It makes me want to be Molly Ringwald, if that makes any sense.)
    Big kiss.

Cute! My favorite post on that entry was this one:
song’s awesome, though could be a little more gay for my money.
    *giggle*
For me, it was like “You Make Me Feel Like Dancin'” and “You Should Be Dancin'” had a child.
Have you seen the preview for Sophia Coppola’s new Marie Antoinette movie?
How fun! And how hot is that leading man?!? Ooooooh. Yummy!
Love you, KiKi. Thank you for the cheering up.
I hope I get lots of great suggestions in this comment thread, so I can bookmark this entry and come back to it when I need a giggle or just a smile.

Yes, please. I should finish casting TWO of the four projects I’m working on in another week. And then I’m FREEEEEEEEE (ish). Let’s plan it. Yippee!
Wanna go see Step Up with me?
What’s THAT?!? I don’t know what this “Step Up” is you speak of. Oooooh, what is it? Do I need it? You know I look to you for tips on how to be cool and non-sinnerly. What IS it? Oooooh.
Thanks for the love, Mommy. Helps a lot! XXOO

Ummm…I’M PUTTING THE DEPOSIT ON THE THEATRE TOMORROW!!! And I feel great about it, not like, whoaaaa, like YEEAWWWWW.
And…I just backspaced a whole sentence and rewrote it just to spell “THEATER” like “THEATRE”, for you.
Hmmm…I love you? Does that cheer you up??
I think I’m going to be up ALL night cause it was so freakin’ hot I just stayed in bed most of the day! ew!

Have you seen the trailers for “John Tucker Must Die”? That will be my cheer-up movie this weekend, because like you, there are just a bunch of things that I’m just OVER. It probably won’t be a “Bring It On” but I’ll take what I can get.

Remember my post, I think it was last year?
    THIS TOO SHALL PASS……
Yes, and the wisdom that you hold will carry on. Just make sure the wine is frosty cold.
    I love you……..

rockstar.msn.com download all of Zayra’s performances, think about your “what the hell were you thinking” file while your watch and laugh at the wonder that is her ability to stay week after week despite sucking so bad (or maybe good…maybe that’s how she’s saying, Tommy Lee and Dave Navarro are rather single now)

Oh my god, listen to Amy!!!! Zayra’s performances are the best/worst musical performances in the history of song! I’m not sure that I’m exaggerating here! Seriously! I can’t stop screaming! They are that good/bad! Like, they are maybe a couple degrees from potentially being revolutionarily GOOD, but it’s like those two or three degrees are the difference between Reinventing Music and Complete Claptrap Crap.
    Good stuff!

The heat in LA seems to be putting everyone in a bad mood.
When I need a good laugh, I go to the following url (sorry, don’t yet know the HTML tag to make this a link):
    https://www.nearlygood.com/audio/poscar.html
(Language warning, and it’s an old song, but it’s still just as funny!!)

    Hi Gang,
I haven’t looked at ANYTHING since my most recent addition, above (11:09pm), but I wanted to thank y’all for the links and the love.
If it’s possible, I had a shittier day today than yesterday. Exploding producers are HARD to deal with. I seriously HATE my world right this second. (Isn’t that awful? Believe me, I know it won’t last. I know I’ll be fine soon, but in the mean time, this is HARD.)
Okay, but since I want to keep this thread bookmarked for “stuff to make me feel better” when I do need it, I wanted to add two things I got via email today.

    Dear Bonnie,
You bring cheer to so many, and share the love so generously…I just saw that late night request for some giggles. I agree with David Lawrence, that’s my fav youtube clip too, but here’s a parochial one…if you’ve seen those goofy bollywood junk films, you’d find this funny. Do wait ’til you see who he’s dancing with ;-):
And I agree, “A leader, not an actor” is a killer Slogan.. :-).

Hope this brings a small reprieve to your day. A breath of fresh air so to speak.

    So…
Back to FRICKIN’ work. Seriously. I’m OVER so many people right now.
I do blame the heat and Mercury in Retrograde more than anything else, though.
Still, I suspect I’ll be in a much better way come August. For several reasons. 😉
    Thanks, my lovelies.
OH!! AND I LOVE THE LOGOS YOU’RE SENDING ME! Y’all RAWK!!!!! Thank you! Wow! So many creative people I know! That does give me some happiness. As will these links you guys have posted in my comments, once I can finally go visit them. I WILL GET A BREAK. I MUST.
    LYMI–all y’all!

I was wondering if Mercury was in retrograde because of my mood this week. I totally feel better now that I know.
Some day we must trade work-related horror stories over margaritas at El Cholo.

Mercury is in retrograde in Leo, which pretty much screws me (rising sign). Seems every machine I have is breaking down, and I can’t get through to the repair hotlines! Cannot wait till this is over.
