I have helped a lot of people get what they want in life. A. Lot. A LOT.
But what I’m actually doing is helping them get more aligned with what they say they want in life.
Let me break down why that distinction is important.
We all have this song playing in our souls, in our minds, in our hearts, always. The song can take lots of shapes and can even feel quite different from time to time, but there’s always this bass note, keeping the pace for what we’re going to experience in life.
When our vocals go: “I want wealth! I want vitality! I want love and romance! I want happiness! I want bookings galore!” we *think* we’re singing a tune that should align us with exactly what we’re saying we want in life.
Thing is, that bass note is more often going: “No one in my family has ever had true love. One time someone told me I would never have a career in showbiz. Who am I to think I could ever have money in the bank when I can’t even pay my rent right now? I’m always struggling. I have unhealed issues that make it impossible for me to feel joy.”
And when there’s a bass note that’s THAT consistent, honey, it wouldn’t matter WHAT the vocals were signing at full voice and with so much passion. That steady, incessant, consistent bass note ALWAYS does the manifesting.
I’d love for you to check yourself the next time you say to yourself or out loud to anyone else “I want X.” Is the very next thing you feel yourself believing something like, “Yeah, right” with an eye-roll emoji?
